Played as a straight knockout, with the number of legs required to win increasing at each round.
How to Qualify for World Championship
The top 32 players on the PDC Order of Merit qualify automatically and are seeded, joined by the leading players on the ProTour Order of Merit and around 48 international qualifiers from PDC Asia, PDC Nordic & Baltic, PDC Oceania, PDC Americas and national qualifying events across Europe — 128 players in total.
